latest work
This past summer allowed me to immerse myself and actually study the central body of my work: the subconscious. That invisible territory where intuition, memory and instinct quietly operate.
Here, I am interested in how the subconscious leaves traces: in gestures, in flesh, in the way an image insists on returning. Painting became a way of listening to those hints, allowing them to surface without forcing resolution, and giving form to what is usually sensed but rarely seen.
For 2026, I plan to further explore this intuitive dialogue between body and spirit. Perhaps one of the most ancient and instinctive forms of communication we know but tend to avoid.

Exploring time through layers, little secrets that are meant to be discovered over time.
This is an idea that I definitely want to keep exploring. Is it possible that the natural “damaging” of an artwork will enrich the piece itself?
Embracing time.

The Party
A colection that ran free. The Party explores the fragile tension between celebration and introspection. Balloons, figures, and fragments of memory intertwine in vibrant layers, evoking both joy and a haunting sense of absence.
This series was first presented at Galeria Graça Brandão, Lisbon.
