Exploring time through layers, little secrets that are meant to be discovered over time.
This is an idea that I definitely want to keep exploring. Is it possible that the natural “damaging” of an artwork will enrich the piece itself?
Embracing time.

Fortunately, I had time during Summer to explore a core part of my work: the subconscious - that part of us that, through some meditation and self work, keeps giving us clues of who/what we are, from where we came and to where we’re heading. So, the themes for these paintings were focused on that: subconscious, past lives and the many faces and fleshes we’ve had.

The Party
A colection that ran free. The Party explores the fragile tension between celebration and introspection. Balloons, figures, and fragments of memory intertwine in vibrant layers, evoking both joy and a haunting sense of absence.
This series was first presented at Galeria Graça Brandão, Lisbon.
